THE META HOTEL. 2009

The Meta Hotel is a small high-rise boutique Hotel on an empty derelict plot on Kloof Street Cape Town. Designed in my second year of architecture the Meta hotel is quite simply as its name implies: a transformation hotel. This hotel is based on light, simplicity and is organic in nature.

With all my designs the architecture is never just the end product, the interiors and landscapes need to be designed in the same language in order to create a holistic design. Thus the end products of my designs can be read from interior to exterior and vise verse and they are always seen as and extension from the site on which they sit.
